Rosie’s Obituary Rosie Ann Robbins, 60 of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at her residence. She was born on August 14, 1959, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, John and Iva Hastings Short. Rosie was the owner of the Southtown Flea Market and was a member of Southside Assembly of God. She was also a former home healthcare nurse, former nurse at NuCare Convalescent Center and a former cashier at Big K in Dyersburg. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Sorrells Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home. Survivors include her daughter, Crystal Allen of Newbern, TN; three step-daughters, Norma Kay Riggs (Eddie) of Paris, TN, Wanda Robbins of Dyersburg, TN and Rebecca Rogers (Larry) of Dyersburg, TN; a step-son, Roger Robbins (Laura) of Dyersburg, TN; two sisters, Mary McNeely and Nadine Haynes, both of Dyersburg, TN; three grandchildren, Jacie Allen, Gage Jones and Preston Baucom; five step-grandchildren, Carol Beth Eakin (Mike), Chris Fowler, Cindy Allman, Robert Robbins and Joseph Rogers; eight step-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Robbins; two step-sons, Ronald Wayne Robbins and Robert Robbins; a step-daughter, Kathy Rogers; two brothers, John Short and Joe Short; and four sisters, Martha Fields, Joann Rogers, Louise Parker and Betty Mann.
