Ronald Edward “Uncle” Koch Jr., 47, of Lewistown, passed away Oct. 27, 2019, at his home. Born Oct. 1, 1972, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Connie J. (Snyder) Koch and Ronald E. Koch Sr., who survives. In addition to his father, he is survived by: companion, Peggy Royer, of Lewistown; sisters, Jodi L. (Koch) Reed and companion, Donnie Ruby, Angela M. Koch and companion, Donald Blessing, and Rebecca D. Koch and companion, Chad Finefrock, all of Lewistown; five nieces and seven nephews; and five great-nieces and five great-nephews. He attended Lewistown Area High School. Together, Ronald and his father had a junk hauling business, which was known throughout the community. Ronald was known as a “grease monkey,” who liked to collect all sorts of monkey items. When he wasn’t working on or fixing up cars, he enjoyed fishing. His family was most important to him, especially his nieces and nephews, and he made himself available to them at any time of day. A viewing will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, followed by a funeral service, with Pastor Kurt Swisher officiating. Memorial contributions in Ronald’s memory may be made to: Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, P.O.
