Robert’s Obituary Robert E. Loftis, 58, of Granite City, IL passed away at 7:33 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Barns Jewish hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on June 18, 1961 in St. Louis, MO to Albert Glen Sr. and Georgia (nee: Medley) Loftis. Robert is survived by his daughter: Tamara Loftis of Granite City, IL; son: Roy Hooker of Granite City, IL two step-children: Ashlee Buchannan of Flagstaff, AZ, and Steven Buchannan of Granite City, IL; two grandchildren: Isabella Taylor and Evelyn Soomro; two step-grandchildren: Skyla Soomro and Audrey Gunter; three brothers: Albert (Elizabeth) Loftis of Gillespie, IL, Tommy Loftis of Granite City, IL and Richard Loftis of Granite City, IL; sister: Debbie Hayden of Granite City, IL. Besides both parents he was preceded in death by his brother: William Loftis and two sisters: Alice Loftis and Alma Hart.
