River’s Obituary River Clark Thomas Gibson was born at 10:37 a.m. on October 17, 2019 in St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. River was 10.6 ounces and 10 inches long. He lived for just over an hour before passing from this life to be with Jesus. River is the son of Devon Gibson and Sara Schmitz Melton of rural Lewistown, MO and will be loved and missed always. He is survived by his parents, Devon and Sara; four sisters, Summer, Autumn and Wynter all of the home in Lewistown, MO, and Kylie Gibson of Oskaloosa, IA; two brothers, Spencer and Jaxson Gibson of Oskaloosa; grandparents, Linn and Teresa Schmitz of Lewistown, MO and Michael and Kimberly Burk of Panama City, FL; great grandparents, Caroline Paine and Lee of Lewistown, MO, James and Norma Tarpein of Panama City, FL and Mary Mitchell of Canton, MO; great great grandmother, Margie Tarpein of La Grange, MO as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles and friends of the family. River was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Leo Schmitz, Jim McIntosh and Betty McIntosh.
