Ricky Andy Lawrence age 61 of Smithville passed away Monday October 21, 2019 at NHC of Smithville. He was born January 31, 1958 to his parents, the late Frank Buffalo and Emogene Brazier Lawrence. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard Lawrence and Michael Lawrence; sister, Gloria Jean Lawrence; special friend and mother of his child, Janice Houk-Zoller. He was retired from Star Manufacturing. He survived by daughter, Nena Cantrell of Smithville; grandchild, Raven Cantrell of Smithville; brother, Frank (Shelby) Lawrence of Smithville; sister, Julie (Bobby) Lawrence Pulley; special lifelong friends, Terry Pedigo and Little Man Pedigo; special nieces; Scarlett Lawrence and her children, Keley Reeder and Ricky Ponder; nieces Donna Estes, Melissa Petty, and Sherry Bloom. A memorial service will be held at Midway Community Center at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with final expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
