A longtime resident of Burnsville, Richard will be greatly missed by his longtime life partner Gloria Marks, brother Paul Hoggatt and sister Yvonne Ullrich, sons Richard Jr and Kristian (Angela), Gloria’s children Stephen (Carolyn) and Rebecca (Keith), and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Richard proudly served in the Army (1953-55) at the end of the Korean Conflict, and under the GI Bill he went on to graduate from the University of North Dakota in 1959. He loyally served as a CPA for the Internal Revenue Service for 40 years until his retirement in 2000. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Kristian and Ingeborg Breuing, and sister Wanda Judd.
