Dateline: Bethalto Raymond G. Ridens, 55, passed on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 12:44 pm at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 9, 1964, the son of Ronald Ridens and Joyce (Hopper) McCracken. On October 12, 1996, Raymond married Sherry Stice in Worden, IL. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Worden, IL and of Painter’s Union Local 351. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Raymond is survived by his wife, Sherry Ridens of Bethalto, IL; his children, Heather Whorl (Isaiah) of Rosewood Heights, IL, Christopher Huggins of Bethalto, IL, and Tiffany Jarman of Litchfield, Il; a granddaughter, Braelyn Whorl; his mother, Joyce McCracken; two sisters, Kristina Kampmann (Michael) of Williamson, IL, and Rhonda Lorenz (Rollie) of worden, IL; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, IL. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto is in charge of arrangements.
