Ramona Armstrong Griffin, age 65 of Searcy, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in Searcy. She was born April 24, 1954 in Searcy to Harold Douglas Armstrong and Virginia Rogers Weidner Armstrong. She was a member of Valley Baptist Church, loved her family, friends and neighbors; she loved her dogs, singing in church and traveling. She is survived by her sister, Sheila Armstrong of Searcy; brother, Gerry Weidner and wife Brenda of Romance; nephew, Eddy Weidner of Maumelle; brother-in-law, Malcolm Griffin of Mtn. Home; two step-daughters, Kristie Dixon of Beebe, Elizabeth Ham and husband Robert of Kansas City, Missouri, and two step-grandchildren, Lauren Dixon of Syracuse, New York and Chloe Ham of Corpus Christie, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Virginia Armstrong; and husband, Magers Griffin. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 pm at Kensett Cemetery. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
