Paul W. Windell, 78, of Corydon, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Salem Crossing in Salem, Indiana. He was born September 2, 1941, in Corydon, to the late Claude Elmo and Honor Forest Frederick Windell. He was retired from the U.S. Naval Ordnance in Louisville, was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Dee Anna Chumley Windell. Survivors include his daughters, Gail L. Terry (H.R.) of Henryville, Indiana and Sara J. Faith (Jefferey) of Corydon; his brother, Jack Windell (Evelyn) of Corydon; and his grandchildren, Lukas, Kelcie, Haley and Gracie. Funeral services will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Matthew Woods will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be after 12:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
