Nicholas Patrick Sauer, age 30 of Creve Coeur, MO, died Tuesday, October 08, 2019, at his home. He was born on Sunday, August 27, 1989, in Phoenix, AZ, the son of John and Lisa (nee Coon) Sauer. On June 25, 2016, he married Megan E. Sauer nee Frank at Salem UCC-Alhambra, IL, who survives. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He was born at Phoenix, AZ; grew up in Carlinville, IL and later moved to Troy, IL. He started as a freshmen at the Triad School District. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia receiving his degree in Marketing. The past four years he has lived in Creve Coeur, MO and worked for the Enterprise Fleet Division as an Account Executive. He enjoyed playing golf; trying different whiskeys; following Harry Potter and Sunday NFL Football. Survivors include: Wife – Dr. Megan E. Sauer (nee Frank), Creve Coeur, MO Son – Jackson Patrick Sauer, Creve Coeur, MO Fur Babies – Sadie & Bauer Parents – John Patrick and Lisa Sauer, nee Coon, Troy, IL Brother – Joseph Alexander (Significant Other-Paola Rivera)Sauer, Kansas City, MO Sister – Olivia Raye (Significant Other-Jake Freeman) Sauer, Troy, IL Maternal Grandmother – Sandra O.(Roger) Hurrelbrink, Winchester, IL Father-In-law & Mother In-law – Jerry L. and Ann M. Frank, nee Renken, Alhambra, IL Sister-In-law – Madison M. Frank, Alhambra, IL. He was preceded in death by: Paternal Grandfather – Urban Sauer Paternal Grandmother – Dorothy Sauer (nee Lumsden) Maternal Grandfather – Richard Coon. Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2019, at Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, IL and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, IL. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, IL. Interment will be at Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery in Troy, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Jackson Patrick Sauer’s College Fund.
