Nelson Lambert Grove December 01, 1934 – October 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Nelson Lambert Grove, 84, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV. Born December 1, 1934 in Silver Grove, WV, he was the son of the late Dearl Armstead Grove and the late Jessie Hawk Grove. He was of the Christian faith. Nelson is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Anna Katherine Grove; 4 sons, James Grove and wife, Christine, Dwayne Grove, Mark Grove, and Randall Grove; 4 daughters, Trudy Kirk and husband, Ernest, Karen Smoot and husband, Wayne, April Maples, Robin Waters and husband, Kenny; one brother, Paul Grove and one sister, Bernice Breeden; 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was he was preceded in death by one son, Donald Grove; and three daughters, Donna Everhart, Antionnette Everhart, and Lisa Bond, granddaughter, Christy Grove-Thorpe; four brothers, and two sisters. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Mike Lida officiating. Interment will be in Silver Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday and Monday from 6-8 pm. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Grove, Derek Smoot, Brandon Maples, David Kirk, Corey Bond and Dwayne Grove. Honorary bearers will be Isaiah DeLauder, Christian Weister, Brayden McDaniel and Skyler McDaniel.
