Ms. Nelda Juanita Miles 81 of the Cumbest Bluff community passed away on October 12,2019 at Singing River Hospital. She was born on August 24,1938 in Pasacgoula, MS. Ms. Miles was a lifelong member of Caswell Springs United Methodist Church in Wade. She was very active in all church activities especially CSUM His Way, she was also a member of the Eastern Star with the East Central Chapter #393 of Wade. She was preceded in death by her husband Lamar “Allan” Miles, her mother and stepfather Della Mae and Edgar Roper, her father and stepmother Burch and Clem Porter and her brother Wayne Parker. She is survived by her sister-in- laws Janell Parker and Ganell Welsh. She will also be missed by her special, loving and devoted nephews and nieces Kenneth (Kim) Parker, Dinah (Joel) McCarra, Cindy Burns, and many more nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Monday October 14,2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Caswell Springs Untied Methodist Church. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm from the church sanctuary with Eastern Star Funeral Rites being conducted by the East Central Lodge #393. Rev Kevin Trantham and Rev Eugene Hamilton will be officiating the funeral service. Burial will follow in Caswell Springs cemetery. Pallbearers will Joel McCarra, Colt McCarra, Kenneth Parker, Riley Parker, Noah Parker, and Clayton Epps. The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff of Glen Oaks Nursing Home in Lucedale, MS for their love and compassionate care during Ms. Miles last years there.
