Capela, 35, of Route 89, Corry, Pa., passed away accidentally on Saturday, October 5, 2019, doing what he loved and surrounded by a lot of people that meant the world to him. He was born February 1, 1984 in Corry, Pa., a son of Kenneth and Patricia Carter Capela, of Corry, Pa. He was raised and educated in the Corry area and graduated from Corry Area High School in 2002. Nathan loved old fashioned farming, growing crops and running farm equipment. Owning his own combine, tractors, trailers and additional farm equipment were a proud accomplishment for him. He loved all seasons for their own reasons, and enjoyed snow plowing and snowmobiling when time allowed in the winter. Nathan was member of the Tri-County Snowblazers, Inc. He especially enjoyed being outside in the fresh county air and working in the woods, cutting fire wood and being in the fields doing farm work. He looked forward to attending local tractor pulls at the fairs every year. Nathan also enjoyed spending time with his two dogs, Sadie and Abby, going for 4-wheeler rides and hunting. He took pride in his truck, family, daughter and crop farming. He had worked at Venango Machine in Wattsburg as a machine operator for several years. In the past, Nathan worked for Dallas Morris Drilling and helped at many local farms. Nathan was referred to by many as neighbor, cowboy or Uncle Nate. He was a hard worker and it showed in him. He had many childhood memories of close neighbors and friends growing up. He touched so many lives, not realizing the impact he had on them, especially his close friends, who were with him at the time of the accident, Ronny, Ryan, R.J. and Conner Bem. In addition to his parents, Nathan is survived by his fiancé Kimberly D. Chelton; a daughter, Lexi Chelton; three sisters, Jennifer Cafardi and her husband John of Cincinnati, Oh.; Charlene Stephens and her husband Rob of Indianapolis, In. and Cathie Ranyak and her husband Tim of Union City, Pa.; his future in-laws, Jim and Sandy Chelton of Corry, Pa.; Kim’s sister, Carrie Munsee, her husband David; and Kim’s brother, Kevin Chelton, his wife Karina and their families. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the Beaverdam Mennonite Church, 17721 Route 89, Corry, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, and attend the funeral service there on Wednesday at 11 am.
