Nathan John Salcido, 43, passed resident of Carlsbad, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. Visitation will be at 3:00 PM-7:00 PM, Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2019 at 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Nathan John Salcido was born November 8, 1975 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Inez G. Salcido and Alice Salcido. He was always a peace maker and made friends with anyone. Nathan cherished his family and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed fishing and was a Dallas Cowboy fan. Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors are wife: Michelle Salcido; son: Justin Salcido; step-daughter: Summer; step-sons: Arthur and Theodore; parents: Alice and Inez Salcido and several grandchildren; sister: Amanda Cerna and husband, Manuel; grandmother: Teresa Salcido and nieces: Savannah, Victoria and Lanessa and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
