Nancy Ovella Taylor October 12, 1935 – October 19, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card NANCY OVELLA TAYLOR Nancy Ovella Taylor, 84 of Bluefield, VA passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019. Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Madison Holbrook, Sr and Mary Belle Brewer Holbrook. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and taught Sunday School. She loved reading and working puzzle books. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Bobby, Bill and “Bud” Holbrook and Jane Shrader. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: Eugene Taylor of Bluefield, VA; her daughter: Carleen Meadows and husband, Ron of Bluefield, VA; sisters: Louise Thompson of Bluefield, VA, Betty Smith of Bluefield, VA and Peggy White-Hamm of London, KY; grandchildren: Gene Meadows and Tabitha Meadows. A service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Johnnie Mize and Rev. Dennis McLemore officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at Dudley Memorial from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.
