Monty Dwayne York, age 31, passed away October 6, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and attended Leanna Church of Christ. Monty was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herman Monte York. He is survived by his wife, Kristina Binkley York; father, Dwayne York and step-mother, Shari Ann Graves; mother, Debra Sue Vandiver Jewell; sons, Monty Dwayne York, II, Nolan Lee York; brother, Shawn York; sister, Ashley Vandiver; and grandmother, Darla Beverly York. Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. Chapel service will be 12:00 PM, Monday, October 14, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Ralph Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers.
