Miguel Lorenzi June 13, 1949 – October 18, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Miguel Lorenzi, age 70, went home to the Lord peacefully on October 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Edinburg, TX to Omelio and Manuela Lorenzi. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and went to battle at the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal. After his service he enrolled at Pan American University and met the love of his life Paula, and married March 28, 1975. He leaves to cherish his wonderful memory his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Paula Lopez Lorenzi, Daughter, Sonia Davila, Son, Miguel Lorenzi Jr., eight grandchildren, Siblings, Maria Rudovsky, Teresa Lozano, Thomas Lorenzi, Rosa Bowen, Luis Lorenzi, Manuel Lorenzi and Margie Garland Steuber. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Miguel is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Antonio Lorenzi and Elvira Smith. Visitation will be held Saturday October 19, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Rudy Garza Funeral Home Chapel of Angels. Chapel Services will be held on Sunday October 20, 2019 at 10:00 am at Rudy Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery, San Benito with full military honors under the auspices of the American Legion Post 205 and VFW Post 2410. Honored to be pallbearers will be Miguel Lorenzi Jr., David Lorenzi, Luis Lorenzi Jr., Austin Lorenzi, Ramiro Trevino and Joey Tanguma.
