Melba Louise Christie age 84, of Mena, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 7, 2019 in Mena, Arkansas. She was born on November 25, 1934 in Lufkin, Texas to the late James Fred Christie and the late Tommie Barnes Christie. Melba worked as a Deputy Sheriff in Harris County Texas for many years. She is survived by: Brother: James Christie of Mena, Arkansas Nephew: David Christie of Mena, Arkansas Mrs. Christie was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
