Marquita Denae Alvarado-Berger, 34 of Pittsburg, KS died September 24, 2019 from injuries sustained in a car accident. She was born August 17 1985 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Tulio Alvarado and Jewell Burns (Berger). She graduated from Pittsburg High School. Marquita married Carl White on December 5, 2013; they later divorced. Church membership was held at the Lighthouse Temple Ministries. She was currently working at the Dollar Tree in Pittsburg. Survivors include two sons: Isaac and Charles Hayes; a daughter: Marquel White all of Pittsburg; Father: Tulio Alvarado of Venezuela and Mother: Jewell Burns of Pittsburg, two step-fathers: Robbie Hall of Pittsburg and Damon Beaman of Kansas City; brothers and sisters: Chelsae Hall Kerrington Hall, Kamree Simmons, Javin Jackson, Daniela, Rafael Alvarado, Maryana Alvarado, Angel David Alvarado, Miquel Angel Alvarado, Ibrahim Diaz and Daimon Beaman II. . She was preceded in death by her grandparents Joyce Allmon, Fredrick Berger, Loretta Rogers and an uncle Clayton Allmon. Funeral services will be 1pm Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Lighthouse temple in Pittsburg with Bishop Walter Simpson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until service time. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
