His loving family was with him. He was born on April 28, 1961 in Denison, TX to Gene Thompson & Connie Harrington Thompson. Mark married Donna Morrison on July 24, 1988 in Denison, TX. He was a dispatcher for Lattimore. Mark will be greatly missed by his everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife; Donna Thompson of Denison, TX, his father; Gene Thompson of Denison, TX, his children; Jushua Martin & Amber of Farmersville, TX, Ryan Martin of Alyssa of Argyle, TX, Elizabeth Ann Thompson of Amarillo, TX, Misty Vargas of Reno, NV, Christy Thompson of Whitewright, TX, Katie Sullivan & John of Denison, TX, his sisters; Caol Milam & Philip of Bonham, TX, Cheryl Short of Pottsboro, TX, Leiann Whitley of Platter, OK, Chris Stewart & Elizabeth of Sherman, TX, numerous grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends. Mark was preceded in death by his mother; Connie Thompson in 2004, step-mother; Margie Thompson and his son; Shawn Hightower at a young age of 36. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019, 10::00 A.M. at American Funeral Service Chapel, Denison, TX. Pastor Roger Speers will officiate. Family & friends visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019, 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
