Marianne’s Obituary Marianne J. Weber, age 74, passed away peacefully October 6, 2019 at Addington Place in Northville, MI. Marianne was born October 29, 1944 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (Schiavo) Cianciolo. She is the loving mother of Jeremy J. and Christopher M. (Jennifer); devoted grandmother of Ben and Sarah Weber; former wife of Carl J. Weber, retired of the Detroit Police Department; fondest sister of Marguerite M. (Joe) Slama and A. V. James (Judy) and the following deceased Pauline M., John S. J., Dr. S. Thomas A. (Marilyn) and Dominic F. (Carol) ; cherished aunt of four nieces, seven nephews, and many great nephews and great nieces; granddaughter of the late Giovanni and Paolo (Rini) Cianciolo and the late S. Thomas and Anna Marie (Sansone) Schiavo. Mrs. Weber is a graduate of Wayne State University (1969). She was known to her first grade class at St. Matthew’s in Detroit as “Miss Marianne” (1968-1970). Mrs. Weber was also a graduate of the Detroit Police Academy in 1977, a Loan Officer at First Federal of Michigan (1977-1982), and a Computer Systems Analyst for the IRS from 1985, until her retirement. Marianne was well known to both the CIANCIOLO and RINI families as a collector of family tree information. She organized the first CIANCIOLO Family Reunion in 1994. To both family and friends, she offers a last wish: “Live Long, and Prosper.” The Weber family will receive friends Friday, October 11, 4-9 pm with a rosary at 7 pm at the funeral home. Her funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 12, 11 am (in state 10:30 am) at St Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336.
