Marguerite Eleanor Edmondson “Peg”, age 94, of Kalamazoo, died October 23, 2019. She was born April 25, 1925, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the daughter of John and Martha (Schuett) Wood. Peg was a graduate of Western Michigan University. She had worked as a social worker in Kalamazoo, along with her secretarial work at the First United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Family was always her priority and she cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family includes her children: Bob (Noreen) Edmondson, Kris (Bill) Paddock, John (Margarita) Edmondson, and K.C. (Roberta) Edmondson; her grandchildren: Andrew, Samuel, Jennifer, Jacob, William; her great-granddaughter Josephine; her brother Robert Wood; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Edmondson and her sister, Winnie. Private interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo.
