Margarete Payan, 81, died on October 26, 2019. A former resident of West Babylon, LI, and longtime resident of The Peabody Home in Franklin, New Hampshire, where she leaves many caring and devoted friends and staff. It is comforting that she is finally out of pain and suffering and at peace. Mrs. Payan is survived by her seven children, Judy Scott and her husband Chuck of Bayport, Sonnya Graziosa and her husband Michael of West Babylon, Clifford of Florida, Bruce of Pennsylvania, Margaret Galioto and her husband Louie of North Babylon, Diana Brennan and her husband Richard of New Hampshire and Michelle Shank of Patchogue, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends and relatives will gather on Friday, November 1st, 4-8 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a religious service will be held at 6 p.m. Interment will take place on Saturday, November 2ndat St. Ann’s Cemetery in Sayville. In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8thAvenue, 7thFloor, New York, NY 10001, are appreciated.
