Age 64. Wife of 10 years to the late John R. Rambone, Jr. Mother of Natalie L. and her husband Dean M. Scardino of Elk Township. Grandmother of Ethan M. Scardino. Sister of Ralph J. Johnsonbaugh and James A. Johnsonbaugh. Sister-in-law of Rosemarie Rambone and the late Joseph and the late Anthony and Phyllis Rambone. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Ralph L. and Emma Mildred (nee Johnson) Johnsonbaugh. Born in Elmer and a longtime resident of Elk Township, Margie was a 10 year resident of Franklin Township before moving to Clayton 3 years ago. She was a member of the Delsea Regional High School Class of 1974 and worked for 20 years as a bartender at numerous places including the Cozy Inn, Wood Log Cabin, Solloway’s, Pine Tavern, Cedarwood, Brad’s Red Tavern, VFW Post 679 in Glassboro, and the American Legion Post 179 in Clayton. Most recently, Margie worked as a school bus driver for C.J.’s Bus Service in Pittsgrove Township for 12 years. Margie loved dogs and cats and had numerous pets over the years. She loved to cook and bake and enjoyed decorating her house and hosting during the holidays. A thyroid cancer survivor, Margie enjoyed coaching Elk Township softball and served on the PTA for Elk Township and later Delsea Middle School. She loved drinking vanilla malts and Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. She loved Elvis, spending time with her best friend Sue Hunt, meeting her brothers for coffee, and going to the shore, especially Wildwood. Her daughter recalls that Margie would do anything for anyone. She was excited to be a grandmother, but her family finds comfort that she now gets to spend eternity with her husband.
