Margaret Louise Grant March 08, 1933 – October 16, 2019 Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Mrs. Margaret Scott Johnson Grant departed this life on October 16, 2019, while a patient in Autumn Care in Suffolk, Virginia. She was born to Charlie Herman and Georgianna Resse Scott on March 8, 1933 in Southampton County. Margaret was educated in the public schools of Franklin and Southampton. For several years, she lived in New Jersey and later relocated to Windsor, Virginia. Margaret was a member of Sixth Street Baptist Church in Suffolk, Virginia, where she served as a musician. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Daisey Scott Jones. She leaves to celebrate her life, one son, V. McCoy Johnson; one sister, Alice H. Braxton of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two grandsons, Charles Johnson and Victor L. Lee of New York; four nieces, one nephew, other relatives and friends. We will forever miss Margaret but humbly submit to God’s will.
