Obituary Manuel C. Bernardo, age 73, of Woodland Ave., East Providence died October 4, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of his beloved wife Maria Da Luz (Correia) Bernardo for 49 years. Manuel was born in Algarvia de Nordeste, Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, on October 7, 1945, a son of the late Leonardo and Mariana (Dutra) Bernardo. He worked in manufacturing for many years and later retired as a housekeeper from Bradley Hospital.
