Lowell L. Hagen, Sr., 80, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Genesis Medical Center East Campus – Davenport. There will be no services. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with cremation. Lowell was born May 20, 1939 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Melvin and Elsie (Remrey) Hagen. He married Lynda Dress on July 8, 1963 in Colorado Springs, Colorado; she preceded him in death on September 6, 2018. He was a 1958 graduate of Subula High School. He served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1967. Lowell worked for the City of Clinton Streets Department for many years, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing and telling jokes. He is survived by his children: Lowell (Rebecca) Hagen, Jr. of Clinton, Lori (Ron) Johnson of Camanche, Lorne Hagen of Clinton, Lisa Hagen of DeWitt and Lonnie Hagen of Clinton; several grandchildren; three siblings: Melvin (Marlene) Hagen of Yuma, Arizona, Lary (Sharon) Hagen of Camanche and Nancy Lamb of Colona, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
