Lorraine’s Obituary Lorraine M. Stieber, age 99 of Monticello, MN, formerly of Antioch and Niles, IL, passed away peacefully October 10, 2019. Lorraine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed meeting new people and engaging in their life story. She appreciated a good game of bridge, rummikub, or solitaire. She is preceded in death by her husband, John, parents Lionel and Mary Fischer, and siblings, Rosemary Hagele, William Fischer, and Dick Fischer. She is survived by children, Patricia (Neil) Golimowski and Ro (Tim) Weldon, grandchildren, Janet Golimowski, Andrew (Fukuko Yoshida) Weldon, Laura (Jeff) Fudala and Amanda (Lowell Labaro) Weldon, great grandchildren, Aubrey Fudala, Lucas Fudala, and Corrina Labaro; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am on Friday, November 29th at Saint Henry Catholic Church, 1001 E 7th Street, Monticello, MN. Visitation beginning at 10 am. Interment to follow 9:30 am on Monday, December 2nd at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, Illinois. We invite all to wear Lorraine’s favorite color pink in celebration of her 99 years of life.
