Lloyd “George” Ball, age 73, entered into the Kingdom of our Lord, on the morning of October 12, 2019, in the comfort of his home in Wasilla, Alaska after a long battle with health problems the past few years. He was born in Boise Idaho on June 13, 1946, to Lloyd and Glendora Ball. He is preceded in death by his parents, along with many beloved pet companions. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Madison Ball and his daughter and granddaughter, Carrie and Mikki Mason of Nampa Idaho, Godson, Deven Wesolowski, and Jasper, Jax-son and Riley, his constant companions at home. He married the ‘hug’ of his life Patricia Madison, May 30, 1982, in Boise, Idaho. They enjoyed a few years living in Montana, before moving to Alaska and settling in Wasilla in 1991. From a young age, George loved outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. He also enjoyed gun collecting, training dogs and hunting behind a good dog! He was a proud Eagle Scout, he served in the Idaho Army National Guard, a lifetime member of NRA and supporter of the Sons of the American Legion. He co-owned MT IDAK Kennel with his wife, in the Valley where he was very proud of the ‘dog families’ that continued to bless him over the years. George loved music, singing, playing piano and listening to old-time gospel and country tunes. His strong Christian faith guided him in life. He was a member of St John Lutheran Church in Palmer AK. Memorial tributes may be sent to the Lutheran Church Charities, K-9 Ministry programs. A celebration of life will take place Sunday, October 20, 2019, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm at Schwabenhof in Wasilla, AK.
