Linda Raver, age 72, of Walnut Cove, NC, formerly of Carson City, NV, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at The Oaks in Winston-Salem, NC of metastasized uterine cancer. Linda was born on June 16, 1947 in Lincoln, Maine to Mansell and Etta Chubbuck. She is preceded inthe death by her parents and two brothers Mansell “Buddy” Chubbuck and Waldren “Wally” Chubbuck. She is survived by her three children, Lynette Giles (Albert) 52 of Carson City, NV; Paul Albert 50 of Tampa, FL; and, Kenneth “Ken” Albert 46 of Walnut Cove, NC. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Corey (31), Jeremy (25), Jacquline (25), Brittni (23), and Grace (15), along with five great-grandchildren. Linda worked most of her career at the Ormsby House Hotel/Casino in Carson City, NV where she was the night auditor for over 20 years. She finished her working career as a tax preparer for Jackson-Hewitt. She will be remembered for her friendly demeanor, outgoing personality, willingness to help those in need, and love of her family and friends. Linda loved science fiction, Worldof of Warcraft, Star Wars, Harry Potter, reading any book she could get her hands on, crochet, movies of all sorts and playing card and board games. Always…
