Linda’s Obituary Linda Nell Gilbert Hoague, 75, passed away October 17, 2019 in Houston, TX. She was born on July 14, 1944 in Trinity, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Dorothy (Brock) Gilbert, and sisters Evelyn Johnson and Ginger Butler. Linda is survived by her loving husband Keith Hoague, daughter Terri Scott Edes, grandson Dalton Taylor Johnson, sister-in-law Margo Hoague, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She retired from UT Health Science Center after 23 years of service. Linda volunteered for several organizations supporting historic preservation, education, and patriotism, and honoring veterans. She had a passion for genealogy and spent many hours researching and compiling family history. Linda is remembered for her love of family and keeping traditions alive, and for her generous heart.
