Ms. Lesie Mae Bryant was born on February 24, 1937, in Copiah, Mississippi to Lowola Bell and Green Bryant Sr. Lessie was a member of Jones Chapel Church until her health begin to fail. Lessie worked all of her life as a restaurant cook, afterward she became a housekeeper and provided support for her family on a consistent basis. Lessie loved to laugh, tell stories, she had a great love for her family, a woman of few words with a profound meaning. She enjoyed watching old western movies and could tell you who all the actors were. She had an unwavering and quiet spirituality. The day before she transitioned to her higher calling she said, “I have always been in God’s hands”! On October 1, 2019, Lessie peacefully departed this life in Jackson, Mississippi. “To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven”.
