Leonard Weitz 90, of Mt. Kisco, N.Y. and formerly of Chappaqua, N.Y. died on Oct. 12, 2019. He was born on July 23, 1929 to the late Morris and Anne (nee Flichtenfeld) Weitz in NYC. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Leonard was retired CEO and Chairman of the Board of Chief Consolidated Mining Co. in NYC. He is survived by his devoted wife, Betty (nee Terry) Weitz of Mt. Kisco, N.Y. and by his loving children, Eliot M. (Alexa) Weitz of Carlsbad, CA and Jill M. Weitz of Bronx, N.Y. also survived by his two cherished grandchildren, Anna and William Weitz. Graveside Services, Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. on Tuesday, 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Jewish World Service, 45 West 36th Street 11th floor N. Y., N.Y. 10018, would be appreciated.
