Lea Ann Mathews, beloved sister, mother, wife, and grandmother, died Sunday, October 13. She was 72. Lea Ann was born in Cedar City, Utah, to Frank and Portia Brinkerhoff. She was raised in Flowell, Utah, as the youngest of six children. In 1969, she married Phillip Mathews and relocated to his hometown of Panaca, Nevada, where they would raise their three children. Throughout her life, Lea Ann was an active member of the LDS church and had a strong testimony of the gospel. Lea Ann left a legacy of loving care and selfless, simple giving to her family, friends, and community. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building in Panaca on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 11:00 am.
