Kathy Lynn Mooney December 07, 1969 – September 27, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Kathy Lynn Mooney, 49, Peacefully went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2019 in Alamogordo, New Mexico . She was born on December 7, 1969 in Livermore, California to Glendon R. Mooney and Geneva L. Howe. Kathy Mooney was a custodian at Mountain View Middle School. She started off at the Sandia Labs in California and moved to Alamogordo to be closer to her family. She was a kind soul who always cared for everyone. She loved her family at home and her school family very much. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for any of her teachers or for her family. This beautiful soul was a huge fan of the San Francisco Giants. This amazing woman has touched the hearts and souls of so many. She will always be remembered with a smiling heart. Survivors include her mother, Geneva L. Howe; brother, Glen R. Mooney, Jr., his wife Rosalinda, and their seven children; brother, Michael Howe; sister, Melinda Mooney Hernandez; sister, Charline Howe and her five children. She was preceded in death by her father, Glendon Ray Mooney. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Mountain View Middle School Gymnasium. The funeral service for Kathy Mooney will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Mountain View Middle School Gymnasium with Deacon Mariano Melendrez officiating. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael Howe, Ricardo Cardiel, Miguelangel Cardiel, Alfredo Gomez, Billy Mooney, Albert Mooney, and Julian Mooney. The Mooney family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
