Kathleen’s Obituary Kathleen Dorothy Brewer, born April 5, 1937 went home to be with our Lord on October 30, 2019 at the age of 82. She was retired from Budget Carpet Cleaning as a sales manager. She attended First Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Irene Smith; one daughter, Rita Vaughn; two brothers, Leon and Edward Lee Smith; three sisters, Dean Stimpson, Oveline Gifford, and Lorreta Ayres. Kathleen is survived by one daughter, Catherine Diane Welch; one sister, Jerri Smith; two grandsons, Chris (Jonna) and Brandon (Erica) Welch; five great-grandchildren whom she adored, Morgan, Savannah, Adia, Lachlan, and Adelaide Welch; three step-children Rickey Brewer, Cathy Brewer Long and Phyllis Monds. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life and Home Going will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Wickes officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m prior to the service.
