Obituary for Karen Ellen Haas Karen Ellen (O’Neill) Haas, age 75 passed away on October 27, 2019. After a long battle with cancer, she can now rest. Karen is joined in heaven with her beloved husband, Arlan Haas and parents, Charles J. and M. Jeanne O’Neill. Karen was born in South Bend, Indiana on June 25, 1944. She grew up in Mendota, IL and later moved to Evanston, IL where she was a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse for many years and was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Karen’s steadfast faith and optimism were always apparent. She cherished the Lord, her family and her friends. Survived by; daughters, Mary (Paul) Boland, Sheri Noelle (Will) Eason; brother, J.J. O’Neill; grandchildren, Madison, Mallory, Macy Meeks, Everett and Maisie Eason. Visitation will be on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 5-7:00PM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be at Franklin First United Methodist Church – Asbury Hall on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 10:00AM with Kortland Fuqua and Rev. Dr. Vona Wilson. The family invites you to join us for lunch at Somerby in Franklin at 11:30AM, 870 Oak Meadow Dr., Franklin, TN 37064. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Graceworks of Franklin.
