Draughn, age 60, transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Vidant Edgecombe. He was born September 7, 1959 in Edgecombe County, NC to the late Jesse Lee Draughn and Erma Whitehead. Julius leaves to cherish his memories: a longtime companion; Dorothy Whitehead of the home, two sons; Walston Foreman of Battleboro, NC, Maleak Alston of Rocky Mount, NC, one daughter; Aqurius Alston of Rocky Mount, NC, four sisters; Cathy Draughn of Rocky Mount, NC, Debbie Draughn Hines, Betty Jean Bullock, Carrie Pryor all of Tarboro, NC, one grandchild and a host of other loving relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Dancy Memorial Gardens.
