Judith Rea Irick April 29, 1942 – October 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Judith Rea Smith Irick, 77, Mountain City passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in the Watauga Medical Center, Boone, North Carolina. Born April 29, 1942 in Hermiston, Oregon to the late Bartlett George & Zelda Lynn Curtis Smith. She had lived in Tennessee for a number of years. She was a retired Correctional Officer with Northeast State Correction Center, Mountain City. She loved horseback riding and painting. Ms Irick was a member of Elk Mills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Carl Irick. Survivors include her husband: Teddy D. Irick. Five Children: Jay Lee Irick, Mountain City, Tedi Birchfield and Bart Irick both of Roan Mountain, Teri Webb, Rogersville and Christy Robinson, Sweetwater, Tenn. 10 Grandchildren and five great Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 in the Strength and Everlasting Love Church, (Smith Hollow Road) Roan Mountain with the Rev. Gary Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
