Joyce’s Obituary Joyce F. Davenport No services will be held for Joyce Faye Davenport, 95, of Ada. Family and friends may call at Criswell Funeral Home Monday and Tuesday for viewing. Mrs. Davenport passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at an assisted living center in Ada. She was born November 13, 1923 in Maysville to George W. and Kate Sprawls Greer. She graduated from McLish High School in Fittstown. On October 23, 1942, Joyce married Howard L. Davenport in Big Spring, TX. He preceded her in death January 8, 2005. They lived in several states before moving to Ada from Texas in 1960. Mrs. Davenport was a homemaker for many years and later worked at Solo Cup. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ in Ada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; her daughter, LaDonna Reynolds; her son-in-law, Steve Reynolds; as well as sisters, Cecile Smith, Ruth Jones, Charlette Smith, Lucille Bolles and Robby Staley. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Read More
