JONATHAN’s Obituary Jonathan Wieley Alex, 49, a native and resident of Lake Charles was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 28, 2019. Jonathan was born on October 9, 1969 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to the late Isabelle Handy-Alex and William Joshua Alex. Jonathan was a 1987 graduate of Lake Charles-Boston High School and attended McNeese State University. He was a United States Navy Veteran and upon discharge from the military, he was employed as a Lab Analyst with Firestone/Polymers and Koch Industries until he was forced to take a disability retirement due to illness. Jonathan was married to Trimone Fondel-Alex and to that union, one child was born, Toriah Jonae’ Alex. Jonathan loved to fish, cook, and read books. Jonathan is survived by his wife, Trimone Fondel-Alex of Lake Charles, LA; his daughter, Toriah Jonae’ Alex of Lake Charles, LA; brothers, Ricky Alex, Victor (Tammy) Alex, and Wiliam Jr. (Lilly) Alex; sisters, Gwen (Ronnie) Ringo and Ruth Patterson; a host of relatives and friends. Jonathan was preceded in death by his mother, Isabelle Handy-Alex; his father, William Joshua Alex; his sister, Doretha Callahan; his son, Johnny Alex. Funeral arrangements are pending. Read More
