Hickory, passed away Saturday October 12, 2019 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. He was born November 27, 1952 in Catawba County to the late Calvin Byrd and Catherine Propst Rutherford. He was formerly employed with Ingold Roofing Company. He leaves to cherish loving memories a sister Gladys Shade Scott and two nephews. A Family Gathering was held Monday October 20, 2019 at 11:30 am at Morningstar First Baptist Church with the Reverend David Roberts II officiating.
