Obituary of JoAnn Gholston JoAnn Mahan Gholston, 85, of Victoria , TN , went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 21, 2019 , surrounded by her loving family. JoAnn was a member of Whitwell Church of God, and a long-time employee of Reed Funeral Home. She was affectionately known by many as “Grannie Annie.” The daughter of the late Virgil C. and Avon Kilgore Webb, JoAnn was also preceded in death by her sister Patsy Webb and her husbands Harold “Monk” Mahan, the love of her life, and Sam Gholston, Jr., her loving companion for many years. JoAnn leaves her daughter, Robin Brown (Wayne); son, Hal Mahan (Cynthia); brother Kenny Webb, sister, Betty Sue Reynolds; “special” granddaughters, Ashley Myatt, Jennifer Brown, and Mary Elise Laman, “special” great-granddaughter, Lily Lou Laman, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends to cherish her memory. The family would like to extend a special thank you to cousins Tom and Mary Haggard for their love and support throughout the years. Also, a special thank you to Dr. Edward Arrowsmith and the Tennessee Oncology Team for their love and care throughout this journey. Funeral services will be held at Reed Funeral Home chapel at 11:00 a.m. CST , on Friday, October 25, 2019 , with Brother Michael Shrum officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Hwy 153 at 1:00 p.m. CST ( 2:00 p.m. EST ). The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24, 2019 , from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. CST .
