Jesse Jake Stivers, Jr. age 82 of Leitchfield, KY died Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bullitt County, KY on May 31, 1937, the son of the late Jesse Jake and Anna Vastie Dadismon Stivers. Jesse was a member of Coyles Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed being outdoors – farming, fishing, hunting and gardening. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jesse Jake Stivers, daughter Sarah Schafer, granddaughter Melissa Priddy, great granddaughter Rylee Schafer and his brothers and sisters. Jesse is survived by his wife Bonnie Dupin Stivers of Leitchfield, KY daughter – Judy Fowler of Custer, KY sons – Johnny, Steve, Jerry, Mark (Elizabeth) and Anthony Stivers of Leitchfield, KY 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11 AM with Rev. Jimmy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the Coyles Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 4-8 PM and Monday after 8 AM.
