Jeraldine’s Obituary Funeral services for Mrs. Jeraldine S. Boren will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 19, 2019, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverends Andy Frost and Dennis Snoddy officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Fishville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mrs. Boren, 85, of Pollock, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, in Marksville, LA. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pollock and an active member of the choir. She also attended Friendship Baptist Church of Fishville for thirty years. She was a homemaker who loved to read, enjoyed providing for others and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and O.V. Smith; her husband, Frank Maxwell Boren, Sr.; two brothers, W.T. Smith and Delton Smith; three sisters, Willie Mae Woods, Tommie Jean Pope and Bobbie Ruth Williams and one granddaughter, Elisha Smith. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two sons, Frank M. Boren, Jr., of Colfax and Eddie W. Boren and his wife, Trudy, of Pollock; three daughters, Belinda A. Boren, of Deville, Betty J. Boren, of Baton Rouge and Kathy Shields and her husband, James, of Marksville; two brothers, Billy Joe Smith and his wife, Norma, of Pollock and Eddie Lee Smith and his wife, Robbin, of Ball; two sisters, Betty Hart and her husband, Clyde, of Boyce and Alice K. Kopp and her husband, Wayne, of Tioga; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Friday, October 18, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, October 19, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Pallbearers honored to serve are: Logan Findlay, Jacob Findlay, Kameron Godron, Konner Godron, Caleb DeMattie, Austin Walker and Ethan Walker.
