Cathey, age 72, of Joelton, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Cathey; parents Bryant and Bonnie Cathey; and sister Jo Ann Cathey. Survivors include his children Johnny Massie, Andrea (James) Jordan, and Jay (Christina) Cathey; siblings Rachel (Billy) Cathey, Morris Cathey, and John Phillip Cathey; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3rd from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M and again on Friday, October 4th from 11 A.M. until the hour of Service at 2 P.M. with Bro. David Royalty officiating. Interment follows at Joelton Hills Memory Gardens.
