James “Jimmy” Clark of Columbia, Tennessee March 24, 1949 – October 24, 2019 James Richard “Jimmy” Clark, age 71, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28th at 1pm at Heritage Funeral Home with Andy Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Jimmy was born March 24, 1949 in Murfreesboro and was the son of the late James Milton Clark and Margie Brewer Clark. He loved trucking, fishing with his grandsons, taking care of others, and always loved his yard work and his family the most above everything else. Jimmy is survived by his wife: Woodie Faye Clark of Columbia; daughter: Kim Clark (Kenneth Halbrooks) of Columbia; son: Bradley Clark of Columbia; son: Darrell Clark (Shelly Clark) of Lawrenceburg; daughter: Lindsey King (Wayne King) of Columbia; six grandchildren: Amber Halbrooks (Garrett Smith), Hunter Clark, Waylon Clark, Harley Clark, James (Jay) King, Emma King; one great granddaughter: Lily Smith; mother: Margie Clark; and siblings: Bobbie Morton, June Hodges, Dean Qualls, Lois Watkins, Rex (Connie) Clark. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his son James Clark, Jr. Pallbearers will be Nick Hodges, Bubba Deason, Timmy Massie, Johnny Watkins, Greg Morton, Donnie Watkins, and Garrett Smith.
