Jack”Bud” Lee Askins August 25, 1933 – October 14, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Jack Lee Askins of Biscoe, passed away on Monday at the age of 86. Born in Fagus, Missouri, he was the son and third born to the family of John and Lucy Askins. At some point in time the family moved to Arkansas, where he received education. Simply known as “Bud” he left school at an early age to work and help out with family needs. With good work ethics instilled from a young age, Bud worked for the Jack Prince Farm, as well as construction for the Brown and Root Co. He considered construction his life time career, which took him many places, such as, Wyoming, Colorado, and even Chicago to help build the Sears Tower. His travels also allowed him many opportunities to fulfill his passion for hunting and fishing in many areas around the states. Currently, Bud has lived in and been a part of the Biscoe community for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clay Askins, Melborn Askins, Troy Askins and sisters; Melba Jewel Askins, Joyce Pennington and Faye Hendy. He is survived by, brothers, William Arnold Askins, Richard Dale Askins; sisters, Lovell Mooney, and Lola Hickman.
