Jack VanSickle, age 67, of Killbuck, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019 at his home surrounded by family, following an extended illness. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 6th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with time set aside for sharing of memories. Military rites will be conducted by the Killbuck VFW at 7 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.alexanderfhinc.com. Jack was born April 26th, 1952 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Wilford and Dora (Patterson) VanSickle. He was a 1971 graduate of West Holmes High School. On September 26th, 1975 he married Barb Marhofer and she preceded him in death on June 4th, 1998. Jack was a veteran of the US Army. He worked 40 plus years for Mason Drilling. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by two children, Rick (Rita) VanSickle of Big Prairie and Michelle Hickman of Killbuck; six grandchildren, Kristi (Alex) Brantley, Brianna, Logan and Zaylee VanSickle, Shelly Crider and Bradley (Cherokee) Crider; three great-grandchildren, Braelynn, Dreaden and Angel; and siblings, Floyd VanSickle, Larry (Kay) VanSickle, Cheryl (Ted) Kays and Marilynn (Jim) VanSickle all of Millersburg, Karen (Tom) Stringfellow of Killbuck and Shirley Kettlewell of Golden, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barb; a sister, Carolyn VanSickle; and a brother, Gene VanSickle.
