Hiram L. Blowers “Sonny”, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Nathan Littauer Nursing Home. Hiram was born May 3, 1940, the son of the late Gordon and Bessie Peters Blowers. A long time resident of Hamilton County, Hiram married Alberta Wells on July 8, 1961. He was employed by the former Coleco Co. in Mayfield for 25 years. He then was employed by the New York State Department of Conservation and worked at the Wells Campgrounds for many years. Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years, Alberta Blowers; Sister Betty Wadsworth of Utica and several nieces and nephews. Hiram is predeceased by a brother Gordon Blowers, Jr. and sister Marilyn Marino. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 11am until 1pm at the Northville Funeral Service, Inc., 401 Bridge Street, Northville NY 12134. A funeral service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Prospect Hill Cemetery Northville.
